St. Walter School Queen of Hearts 50/50 Raffle will utilize a manufacturer’s raffle board. The board has a deck of 54 poker cards (including jokers) sealed and numbered 1-54 on the back. The cards are randomly placed on the board face down with numbers 1-54 on the back by the manufacturer.
Tickets currently will only be available at Beggar’s Pizza (12700 S. Kedzie, Blue Island, Illinois). Tickets will not be sold at the school. Ticket sales will take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:00-8:00pm. Tickets will not be sold on Monday, December 24, 2018 (Christmas Eve) or Monday, December 31, 2018 (New Year’s Eve).

Drawing date will be each Wednesday at 8:30pm at Beggar’s Pizza (12700 S. Kedzie, Blue Island, Il.) beginning November 28, 2018. Ticket sales end 30 minutes prior to drawing (8:00pm).
The purchaser must be 18 years of age or older. Winner need not be present at the weekly drawing.
There can be only one name per ticket. The ticket must contain your name as it appears on you Driver’s License or State ID, phone number and the card number you choose to pick. The name on the ticket must match proper photo identification (i.e. Driver’s license or State ID).
If your ticket is drawn, the number you selected must reveal the Queen of Hearts on the raffle board to win the pot. If the winning ticket holder has selected the number that reveals the Queen of Hearts, the winner receives 50% of the available pot.
If your ticket is drawn, and you draw a card other than the Queen of Hearts, you receive $10.00 in tickets for the following week.
If the Queen of Hearts is not drawn, the pot will roll over to the next week. The pot will continue to build until the Queen of Hearts is drawn. The game could take up to 54 weeks. All raffle tickets will be discarded following the drawing each week.
St. Walter School will withhold all taxes from winnings where applicable. Winners will be required to provide proper photo identification and information for taxes (an exempt organization must report raffle prizes if (a) the amount paid reduced, at the exempt organization’s option, by the wager (the amount a person paid for the chance to win a prize), is $600 or more; and (b) the payout is at least 300 times the amount of the wager. The organization uses Form W-2G for this report).
All rules are subject to change by St. Walter School at any time after each weekly drawing.
